Microdot identification
Tiny uniquely inscribed identifiers are dispersed across the asset, making complete removal difficult.
Sole regional agency
Permanent microdot identification for theft deterrence, ownership authentication and the identification of stolen or recovered equipment and components.
DataDot capability
Ansultech offers DataDot identification solutions for mining, industrial, agricultural and commercial customers in its appointed markets.
Metallic microdots are nickel-plated discs approximately 0.5 mm in diameter, laser marked with a unique PIN. Multiple dots are applied using brush-on or spray-on adhesive containing a UV element, helping authorised personnel find and examine marked locations.
Because identifiers are dispersed across several locations, it becomes extremely difficult to remove an asset or its tradable components completely from its original identity.

Protection layers
Tiny uniquely inscribed identifiers are dispersed across the asset, making complete removal difficult.
Specialised adhesive provides additional detection and authentication indicators for controlled examination.
Recovered equipment or components can be examined to help establish identity and legitimate ownership.
Metallic microdots are suited to valuable equipment exposed to exterior operating conditions.
Polymer or controlled-application products can protect tools, components and indoor business assets.
Warning labels communicate that the asset is permanently marked and can be identified after recovery.
Recommended application points
The supplied training guidance recommends applying DataDots near the asset brand, close to the serial number and in a hidden location. Final quantities and locations are selected for the asset and the customer’s theft-risk requirements.
Clear distinction
Use DataDot where theft deterrence and recovered-property identification are required. Use Maptsoft QR where the requirement is asset registration, inspections, maintenance history, defects, photographs and compliance reporting.
